Since I did not have any background or training in counseling, I was delighted to find that Dr. Lehman clearly defined each of his terms before using them in context. In this way, he built an easily climbable ladder by which I was equipped to descend into a foundational understanding of Immanuel healing prayer which went far beneath the surface I hoped to scratch as a non-professional. I have received this well-written book as a gift – a strong base on which to build my practice of Immanuel healing prayer as both a participant and minister of hope and healing in the presence of Christ.
